Preparation and Feeding Instructions:
  1. Do not handle reptile before offering feeder.
  2. Always feed reptiles separately.
  3. Place rodent bag in warm water until thawed. Do not microwave.
  4. When completely thawed, grasp the  feeder with tongs and present to reptile.
  5. Feeding response may be encouraged by wiggling rodent.
  6. Release feeder when reptile strikes and acquires.
  7. Avoid the risk of bites: Always wash hands after handling feeder rodents.
  8. Never prepare or store frozen feeders where human food is prepared, stored, or consumed.

Amazing feeding response!

I can't recommend a source for feeders more than Layne Labs. My hognoses have been noticeably more active since I've changed to Layne Labs, especially my male hognose. He was previously a shy feeder and needed to be kept in a feeding box before he'd start eating... But now he eagerly takes the mouse from the tongs and starts eating almost immediately! I also greatly appreciate the secure packaging of each rodent packet, as well as the ethical standards for raised mice. No empty bellies, burns, or crushed/broken bodies at all! Just full tummies and no freezer smell!

Amazing products!

I’ve been Layne Labs customer for a bit over a year and I absolutely love their products! The fact that they have variation in sizes (like small and large fuzzies) and they always arrive fully frozen and neatly packaged, makes it my number one choice in frozen feeders. The items are always high quality, with no missing limbs. You can see that these feeders were well taken care of in life and afterwards. I also like the option of ordering smaller quantities as my snake collection is small and therefore I don’t need a 100-mice package.

Worth it

I am ashamed to admit I had been previously feeding my snakes the cheapest bulk frozen mice I could fine. Then the last order I had was of such low quality I refused to use them and went looking for someone that actually cares for the feeder animals. Enter Laynelabs. I was surprised by how easy it was to SEE the difference. Even my cat was thrown off for a second! (She gets them as treats and to be a garbage disposal when the hognoses refuses to eat. Which is far too frequent for my nerves) There's no going back, that's for sure.
