Preparation and Feeding Instructions:

Do not handle reptile before offering feeder.
Always feed reptiles separately.
Place rodent bag in warm water until thawed. Do not microwave.
When completely thawed, grasp the feeder with tongs and present to reptile.
Feeding response may be encouraged by wiggling rodent.
Release feeder when reptile strikes and acquires.
Avoid the risk of bites: Always wash hands after handling feeder rodents.
Never prepare or store frozen feeders where human food is prepared, stored, or consumed.

Great feeders

I loved the quality of the feeder hoppers I received. They didn't have any smell upon opening as I experienced in the past and they looked good. Thawed one out and fed my rosy and he devoured it!! Will be ordering from you guys again!!

Best Pinkies

Even though it seems counterintuitive to order frozen feeder mice when you have a local pet store close by, I am fully committed to ordering them from LayneLabs for the lifespan of Ms. Pliissken. We got our first set of micro pinkies at the convention where we adopted her, and after that I got a few pinkies from the (chain) pet store. Compared to the ones from LayneLabs, they literally looked like roadkill - smashed, oozing liquid, frozen together. It was just a difference like night and day to the single frozen, pup-shaped pinkies I was used to. Delivery was great, the pinkies arrived in perfect shape and as singles, with plenty of dry ice to keep them frozen in case of a delivery delay. An added bonus is the recycled packaging material. Additionally, you can order all varieties in the quantities you like, at the pet store I got either one or three. Comparing the price, the ones from LayneLabs are half the price or less, even with shipping charges, I can only recommend them, I am a happy customer

Picky eaters

Sometimes we encounter picky eaters. The one thing raptors will always eat are large mice. I depend on Layne Labs to provide me the best quality mice available! I never worry about the safety of their products, which is super important when rehabilitating young or injured birds.

Who are you feeding? Big Bird the Barred Owl

Wonderful customer service

The customer service at Layne Labs is outstanding!!! I was concerned the mice would be thawed when I received them due to the distance they had to travel. The lady explained how the mice would be packed and shipped. I recieved me first shipment January 2025 and I am a loyal customer . Big Bird is now residing in a nature center where he can be enjoyed by everyone!
