A convenient Shipping Calculator is located on the right side of each page. To calculate shipping, just add an item to your cart, select your State and enter Zip Code into the Shipping Calculator. Shipping costs will update automatically as you add additional items.

All orders are shipped via FedEx, and are guaranteed to arrive frozen. We are dedicated to shipping your animals as quickly as possible, often the same day you place your order. For definite shipping departure and arrival times please call or email customer service.


How do you ship?

FedEx:
Orders shipped FedEx are packed with dry ice into 2″ molded EPS (Styrofoam) boxes. Orders are shipped Monday – Wednesday depending on your location, and arrive in 1-3 days. We are dedicated to shipping your animals as quickly as possible, often the same day you place your order. For definite shipping departure and arrival times please call or email customer service. Layne Labs will email you a shipping confirmation with your tracking number.  You can use our FedEx tracker to follow your order and see when your delivery will arrive.


Do packages require a signature to be delivered?

No. All packages are shipped with no signature required.

What days do you ship and when should I expect to receive my order?

Layne Labs ships frozen mice, rats, chicks, quail and rabbits Monday through Wednesday of each week, depending on your location, and arrive in 1-3 days. We are dedicated to shipping your animals as quickly as possible, often the same day you place your order. For definite shipping departure and arrival times please call or email customer service. Layne Labs will email a shipping confirmation with your tracking number.   You can use our FedEx tracker to follow your order and know exactly when your delivery will arrive.  All orders are guaranteed to arrive frozen and meet your satisfaction.

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada or the Virgin Islands?

Yes. We do ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada although we are not able to ship to Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands. Canadian shipments require special handling and cannot be ordered online. Please contact customer service if you want your order shipped to Canada.
